Graduate School faculty Valentin Dragoi, Ph.D., of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) has been awarded a three-year, $1.6 million award from the National Institutes of Health’s Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies® (BRAIN) Initiative.
Student Nabina Paudyal received a Houston Area Molecular Biophysics Training Program (HAMBP) Fellowship. Paudyal is affiliated with the Program in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and her advisor is Vasanthi Jayaraman, Ph.D.
Graduate School student Casey Ager has been awarded the 2018 Jess Hay Chancellor’s Graduate Student Research Fellowship. This prestigious award is given to two students per year across the entire UT System.
