Children and families participated in a fun evening filled with scientific experiments during the GSBS Community Outreach Program’s annual Science Night at MD Anderson’s South Campus Research Building on Saturday, Jan. 26. More than 250 children participated in the event, which included a slime-making tutorial that taught participants different states of matter and molecular cross-linking, a build-your-own-lava-lamp station that illustrated the concept of density, and a disc drop game that demonstrated how radiation interacts with the human body.
