I have extensive experience in the application of the Monte Carlo technique in the field of medical radiation physics and radiation biology. My current research interests and on-going projects include:

(1) Monte Carlo simulations (MCNPX, Geant4, Geant4-DNA, and TOPAS)

(2) Investigating physical, biological and clinical aspects of proton and light-ion therapy

(3) Spatial mapping of the proton and light-ion RBE variability using automated biology and Monte Carlo techniques

(4) Microdosimetry (in collaboration with Texas A&M University)
