GSBS, The Film, Opening Night: Friday, May 30, 4-7p.m., 3rd floor, BSRB, Onstead Auditorium, Forum: To wrap up the second leg of the GSBS 50th Anniversary celebratory year, MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences will host a premiere documentary film about the School.

All GSBS alumni, faculty and students are invited to attended.



Thursday, October 3, 2013, 3-5p.m.:  50th Anniversary Kick-off Celebration: The University of Texas Health Science Center President Giuseppe Colasurdo, M.D., and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center President Ronald DePinho, M.D.,  will be speaking; introduce the time capsule, anniversary cake, Planet GSBS unveiling; Onstead Auditorium and Forum, 3rd floor, Mitchell Building, BSRB, 6767 Bertner, Houston, TX 77030. Friday, November 8, 2013, 3-5p.m.:  50th Anniversary Super Panel: Noted alumni and faculty researchers will offer insight and fielding questions; 3rd floor, BSRB, Onstead Auditorium, Forum. Panel discussion: 3-4:30p.m.; Reception: 4:30-5p.m.

Friday, November 8, 2013, 6:30-10p.m.50th Anniversary Alumni Reception and Reunion Dinner for alumni, early faculty, deans, notable others; Asia Society Museum. (This event is invitation only.)

This original artwork was be unveiled at the GSBS 50th Anniversary Kick-off Celebration on Thursday, October 3, from 3-5 pm at the Onstead Auditorium in the George and Cynthia Mitchell Basic Sciences Research Building (Mitchell BSRB).
