GSBS Recruitment Student Ambassadors serve to represent the GSBS in the best light possible and to encourage and engage with current, future students and alumni.

What do we do

  • Assist with the Graduate School with recruitment events throughout the year by
  • Attending local and national recruitment fairs/conferences (in person and virtual)
  • Engaging with prospective students at events by serving at the GSBS designated booth, serving on graduate student-focused panels, identifying potential students by attending posters and talks, and/or serving as a conference mentor, etc.

  • Free travel! (GSBS handles all traveling fees including registrations, flights, and lodging/meals to designated events.)

What is the time commitment

  • We ask that Ambassadors commit to at least one event in the fall and be available for spring events if needed.

How do I become a GSBS Recruitment Student Ambassador

To be eligible for the GSBS Recruitment Ambassador program, the student must:

  • be a full-time, officially registered graduate student at GSBS;
  • have completed at least one year as a GSBS student;
  • have at least two full semesters left at the GSBS after Dec 1;
  • be on track with meeting the milestones outlined by your degree program.

Please complete GSBS Recruitment Student Ambassador Interest Form by (deadline). Your application will be reviewed, and we will contact you for next steps. If selected, you will be notified by email within two weeks of the application submission deadline.
