Transformative discoveries often require technologies that break through current limitations. Our lab is dedicated to developing and applying innovative methods to dissect the complexity of cancer biology. We invite motivated students who are excited by cutting-edge single-cell technologies and interdisciplinary collaboration to join us.

Our research focuses on:

  1. Developing advanced multiomic single-cell technologies to investigate the molecular mechanisms of tumorigenesis
  2. Exploring epigenetic regulation underlying cancer plasticity and drug resistance
  3. Understanding how differences in epigenetic regulation might help explain why leukemia patients respond differently to the same therapy

A tutorial in our lab can be tailored to students’ interests, whether they would like to focus on experimental techniques, computational analysis, or both. Students will gain hands-on experience developing and applying sequencing-based approaches such as RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, CUT&Tag, and advanced single-cell technologies. They can also learn to analyze high-dimensional data using state-of-the-art bioinformatics tools.

We welcome students from diverse backgrounds, including molecular biology, genetics, cancer biology, and bioinformatics, and aim to provide a supportive, collaborative, and intellectually stimulating environment.
