SCIENCE NIGHT 2023
Saturday, February 18
1:00 - 5:00 pm
Cooley Center

Science Night is a science event for the community that targets elementary aged kids. Kids (accompanied by their guardian(s)) can come to our FREE event where multiple booths will be set up hosting different scientific activities. Our enthusiastic team of graduate students will teach concepts spanning a variety of STEM topics like genetics, microbiology, physics and more in bite-size easy to do experiments and art projects. Our goal is to make STEM exciting while providing an educational experience.

Bridge to College and Career Success Mentoring Program

GSBS Outreach has started a new mentoring this fall called the Bridge to College and Career Success Mentoring Program. It is a longitudinal mentoring program that pairs local underrepresented minority high school and college students with current GSBS students to learn more about the STEM field. Our GSBS students provide their insight on their own STEM journey and provide personalized advice on how these students can seek out opportunities to learn more about future careers in STEM.

Thank you to our 2021-2022 mentors!
