Erica Leday, MBA, senior administrative coordinator for procurement, is the recipient of the 2024 University Classified Staff Council (UCSC) Staff Recognition Spotlight Award.

The UCSC Spotlight Award began in 2022 to recognize exceptional staff members at UTHealth Houston. Previous winners from the MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences are Assistant Director of Academic Affairs Natalie Sirisaengtaksin, PhD, in 2022, and program coordinator for the Microbiology and Infectious Diseases program Carolyn Agurcia-Parker, DrPH, in 2023.

"I am incredibly honored to have received the UCSC Award," says Leday. "It's a true privilege to represent the Graduate School."

Leday joined the Graduate School in 2015. She was recognized at the University Classified Staff Council Workshop on July 19.
