This course introduces PhD students to the organization, operations, and finances of a research university/academic medical center and the roles and responsibilities that tenure-track faculty members have. This mini-course aims to provide career stage-appropriate information to graduate students in order to help them explore careers in academia and make plans to maximize the educational and training opportunities in preparation for a tenure-track position.
