My research focus is directed towards elucidation of mechanisms underlying brain tumor pathobiology. A current interest of the lab is identification of novel markers/targets using a genomic approach. Validation of markers is performed through high-density tissue microarray immunocytochemistry.
Depending on the student’s interests, a tutorial in my laboratory would introduce the student to current concepts in brain tumor research and provide experience with morphologic, tissue microarray, and automated image analysis techniques.
