With a background in medical anthropology and as a genetic counselor in the Endocrine Center at MD
Anderson Cancer Center, my research interests are multifaceted. I have experience using mixed methods
including surveys, structured and semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and grounded theory
analysis to conduct research. I also have a special interest in hereditary endocrine neoplasia, rare
cancers, and educating other healthcare providers about genetic counseling.
