My research focuses on developing and applying computational methods for high throughput genomic and proteomics data classification and prediction. We have developed number of useful algorithms for cancer biomarkers/molecular signatures discovery. In application, we collaborate with biologists and clinicians using analytical methods for cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and tumor subtype classification.
Students with intent in learning methods for analyzing high-throughput genomic and proteomics data or an interest in learning bioinformatics basics can be provided a tutorial experience in my laboratory.
