Dr. Giordano’s research interests include breast cancer outcomes research, late effects of treatment, and male breast cancer. She works with large population-based datasets, such as SEER-Medicare, Texas Cancer Registry(TCR)-Medicare, TCR-Medicaid, and private insurance data. As a health services researcher, she has studied cancer care delivery, patterns of cancer care, quality of care, disparities in care, and cancer survivorship.
A tutorial with Dr. Giordano could provide experience in working with large cancer registry and administrative databases to study clinical relevant issues.
