My academic research interest is focused on genetic counseling for inherited predispositions to cancer, specifically in the area of hereditary gastrointestinal cancers. My syndrome specific research interests include Lynch syndrome, hereditary polyposis syndromes, and newly described hereditary colorectal cancer and polyposis genes. I have a particular interest in young-onset colorectal cancer, and alternative service delivery models that allow for increased access to genetic counseling and universal germline genetic testing within this population.
