Funding Opportunities for International Students

There are few funding opportunities for international students in the US. However, some scholarships, such as the F99, CPRIT, and GSBS internal awards, including the Kopchick and President’s Research Scholarship, are still available for international students to apply. Therefore, ISA is hosting a panel of students who have won these awards to share their success stories in attaining such highly competitive scholarships so that fellow international GSBS students can be successful in their future applications.

Student Voices

GSBS is thrilled to announce our "Student Voices" contest. We want to hear about your incredible accomplishments and experiences, so we invite all students to participate.

Simply choose one of the prompts below and share your story (4-5 sentences) with us. Not only will you have the chance to showcase your achievements, but you'll also be entered to win a fabulous prize bag!

  • What academic accomplishment are you most proud of and why?
  • Can you discuss a challenge you faced and overcame and how it has contributed to your personal development? What have you learned from the setbacks or difficulties, and how did you overcome them?
  • How do you express your creativity? What does it mean to you?
  • What is a personal goal you set for yourself that you’ve achieved or are working towards? How do you stay motivated, and what does it mean to you?
  • If you could go back in time, what is one piece of advice you would tell a younger version of you?
  • Can you discuss one event at GSBS that has impacted your personal or professional development? Were there others who helped you succeed?

We can't wait to hear from you and celebrate all the amazing things you've accomplished. Get those stories ready, and let your voices be heard!
