Department of Biostatistics
Dr. Li’s research focuses on developing statistical and machine learning methods and apply them to genomics, epigenetics, and computational biology. She is especially interested in solving questions motivated from real world data analyses. Her recent research projects involve developing statistical methods to evaluate continuous biomarkers with the presence of covariates and to build deep learning-based models for directly and exhaustively annotating cells from single cell RNA-seq. The application of her methods include data from lymphoma, Alzheimer’s disease and pain medication studies.
