Research in the program spans a broad spectrum of imaging science, including biomarker discovery, image-based preclinical mechanistic studies, clinical therapy response assessment, multi-scale systems analysis, image-guided surgery and radiotherapy, advanced image analysis (e.g. radiogenomics, deep learning solutions), multi-modality prognostication (e.g. imaging and liquid biomarkers), PET/MRI, radiotracer development, and developing acquisition and analysis tools for clinical integration. Learning opportunities include training on the fundamentals of preclinical and clinical imaging modalities, usage of MRI, PET, CT, US, and optical imaging systems, development and/or application quantitative preclinical and clinical image analysis tools, interpretation of common neuroimaging modalities, and/or image-based clinical trials.
