My primary research interests are survival analysis and clinical trial design. Survival analysis can study the onset of a disease, relapse of cancer, time to death, etc. Although its techniques have been widely used, currently available methods are far from sufficient to deal with the complications of cancer research. A good design of cancer clinical trials can use less number of total patients, send more patient to the better treatment arms, and expose less patients to highly toxic treatments. I am working in these areas to help advance cancer research.
