Registration is now closed. Licenses will be issued starting on the week of January 22nd, 2024.

Students may apply for a one-year Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, GraphPad Prism, and SnapGene licenses. Licenses may be renewed but require a yearly application. Enrollment is limited to students who are in their first year or affiliated with UTHealth Houston labs. Students affiliated with MD Anderson labs are provided laptops and licenses for software through their departments. Contact your advisor or department for information on requesting software.

Enrollment is open three times a year (fall, spring, and summer semesters). Students apply for software licenses one week prior to the start of the semester, through one week after the semester begins. Licenses will be issued to students on Friday the first and second weeks of open enrollment.

Enrollment for Spring 2024 will open on January 2nd, the last day to register for software will be January 16th. Licenses will be issued out the week of January 22nd.

Licenses may be issued outside of this window, but only on a case-by-case basis. Please contact gsbs.support@uth.tmc.edu to make an out-of-cycle request.

Any license acquired from the Graduate School can only be used on students' personal laptops and devices. Software must not be used on UTHealth-managed and owned desktops and laptops. If your lab computer needs software, then the lab should provide it.

Licenses expire after one calendar year but may be renewed if needed. (For example, if you sign up in Summer 2023, your license will be good until Summer 2024. There is no need to renew until then).

Questions regarding software licenses should be directed to gsbs.support@uth.tmc.edu
