Department of Imaging Physics
My research is in imaging the anatomy with cardiac and/or respiratory motion such as the lung and hepatic tumors as well as the coronary arteries. The applications include image guided radiation therapy, PET perfusion, CT perfusion, and cardiac CT. We are using state-of-the-art PET/CT, CT and cone beam CT devices to bring new imaging acquisition and processing techniques to the clinic.
A student will learn the state-of-the-art research and equipment, and will gain knowledge of image guided radiation therapy, perfusion CT and cardiac PET/CT imaging.
